K-CO Relocates to Smyrna, Tennessee
In late 2023, K-CO Products made the exciting decision to relocate from Irvine, CA to Smyrna, TN. After 15 years of operations in California, we’re thrilled to announce this new chapter for our company as we expand our impact on U.S. manufacturing and continue our commitment to employing disabled U.S. veterans.
While Southern California has been home to K-CO since our founding, the move to Tennessee aligns with a broader trend of businesses seeking a more favorable environment for growth. In recent years, Tennessee has emerged as a major business hub, with companies like Nissan, Amazon, and Oracle making significant investments in the region. We're proud to join this thriving community of innovators and manufacturers.
Building Our Veteran Team
One of the big questions during our move was whether we could replicate our team of disabled veteran assemblers. As David Kurrasch, founder of K-CO, shared: “In just 3 months, we recruited 7 disabled veterans from all branches of the U.S. Military. We're up and running at full capacity, thanks to both our original staff and the new veteran team here in Smyrna.”
Looking Ahead: A Stronger Future in Tennessee
At K-CO Products, we’ve always been committed to Made in the USA products and providing meaningful employment for disabled U.S. veterans. Our new location in Smyrna, Tennessee, allows us to continue this mission while expanding our production capacity and enhancing our customer relationships.
We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support of our loyal customers and partners, and we’re excited for the opportunities this new chapter brings. Stay tuned for more updates as we settle into our new home in Middle Tennessee!
